Clever, adorable and original all at the same time. I spent most of my morning browsing the blog and website, smiling, laughing out loud, going “awwwww” at the kids t-shirts and loving the quirky illustrations!
Summer is a missing, I think it may have just decided to take the year off, but in between the rain and clouds I did manage to snap a few moments of the elusive sunshine!
Okay Spoonflower itself is far from extinct, but their latest competition just ended Extinct Animals. The idea was to create a fabric design using one or more extinct animals as design motifs. Here’s a few of my favourites………..

I love easy cooking, one pot tasty meals that get you through the working week and the smell from the oven whilst they are cooking is yum, almost as good as the colour menu palette this week, a juicy combination of flavours and colours. This post was inspired by the wonderful illustrations and designs by Surfacephilia, a highly talented surface pattern designer who is launching her debut range of cushions tomorrow! I think if I ever got to see one of her fantastically intricate wallpapers or cushions I would want to walk straight up to it and touch the textures and patterns all day
Where ever we travel I take photos (lots of photos!) and maybe a few little souvenirs, a postcard, a ticket stub, things like that and I put them neatly into a box or into a file on the computer. I will look at them occasionally and they mean something to me but today I think I may have fell in love……with the Travel Journals of Natalie Ratkovski.
Through my window the umbrellas walked pasted. The rain never makes me sad, it’s refreshing, mood changing and reminds me of home. Days like this, especially on a weekend, are the perfect excuse to stay at home wear what you like curl up and read a book!
